Standards Workshop
The purpose of this course is to help prepare camp directors/administrators for their accreditation visit and to serve as an introduction to the Standards program for persons interested in becoming visitors. It is required that someone who will be involved with the preparation and will be on-site during the visit attend this course. It is also required of new directors in already -accredited camps.

Standards Update Course
This course is designed for experienced directors or visitors. It is offered to update directors being visited this summer to understand: significant changes to the Standards program; navigation of the new Accreditation Process Guide; resources available; benefits of a Written Document Preview; underlying legal concepts and applicable modes of operation; the ACA-accreditation timeline; and usage terms of the ACA-Accredited Camp logo. For visitors, the Standards Update course is a pre-requisite for the two hour update that follows. |

ACA Standards Visitor Update Course
This two-hour course is for visitors that have completed the Standards Update Course. The intent of this course is to update visitors on the values and mechanics of accreditation visits and to share information in areas of difficulty or concern. In addition to the educational component, visitors will refresh their skills and share and resolve any concerns they may have. |

Associate Visitor Course (2 1/2 days)
Associate Visitors are persons who have completed the requirements of the Associate Visitor Course. They participate as a second (or third) person on a visitation team conducting accreditation visits.
Pre-requisites are:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Current ACA member and completion of a Standards Course (either the one just prior to the Visitors Course or another Standards course previously).

REGISTRATION: Download the Associate Visitors Course Registration Form
There is NO FEE to attend these courses. Room and board will be provided. You provide your own transportation and personal items. Attendance at the entire training is necessary to complete the course. You may receive materials to review ahead of time. Pre-registration is required and must be done no later than 10 days prior to the course. Upon registration, directions, an equipment list and additional information will be sent.
