Happy New Year!
I am not sure about your office, but ours has hit the New Year running with much happening. Keep reading to find out what's going on with ACA - at both the local and National levels.

By-laws review
As required by our Charter with ACA, Inc., ACA Southeastern periodically reviews and revises the By-laws that govern our Section. Your Section Board is in the process of this task and a draft copy of the revised By-laws will be posted on the Web site on Wednesday, January 25 (after the upcoming Board meeting). Please take time to review these and pass on your questions/comments to a board member or to the Southeastern office staff. These proposed By-laws will be voted on at the Breakfast Meeting on February 8, 2006 in Chicago. If you would like a printed copy of the By-laws mailed to you, please contact the Southeastern office at (919) 402-4766 or email info@acasoutheastern.org.

If you have not yet voted in the ACA National elections, please do so NOW! Please take the time to vote for the delegates and officers of your choice. Voting ends January 27, 2006.

FREE Breakfast
For all of you attending the ACA National Conference (Feb. 7-10, Chicago), please plan on attending the free breakfast and meeting on Wednesday, February 8 sponsored by KidsCamp.com/CampJobs.com! Check the conference program for room and time. Also, join us for the Section Gathering on Tuesday afternoon. There could even be some surprises!

Upcoming Meetings
For all camp directors/staff attending the UNC-Chapel Hill Camp Day, please join us for a brief gathering immediately following Camp Day from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. This will be held in the same building as Camp Day, Room 3205 and will be an opportunity to network, share training ideas/opportunities, etc.
Please check the Web site for additional meetings/events in your area. If you have an event/training you'd like to share, email us.

Standards Course Reminder
If your camp is being visited this summer, please make sure you have signed up to attend one of the Standards Courses. Courses that do not have a minimum number of individuals registered at least two weeks prior to the course will be cancelled! There is no charge for the courses, but you must pre-register.
